Reggie Vinson aka Rockin Reggie Vinson

Reggie was born in TN, and raised in Detroit, MI. Reggie grew up with the sound of the Blues, Rock N Roll and Motown. His mother was a gospel Singer and taught Reggie how to play guitar and sing. His Aunt was Minnie Pearl and Pat Boone was his cousin, so music became natural to him. His natural instincts lead to his ability to play and sing songs recorded by Roy Orbison, Sam Cook, The Temptations, and even Elvis Presley.

Then one night Reggie was playing in a Blues Club in Detroit and Etta James ask him to be her guitar player which led him to Chuck Berry and doing some shows with him.

His first record was cut in Detroit under the name of Bob London and the Bobbies. He met Johnny Taylor, an R & B singer with whom he recorded many songs. Then the Rock N' Roll group “Fridgid Pink” recorded four of his songs.

Reggie met Shock Rocker Alice Cooper where Alice aksed him to be his session guitarist and background vocalist on 4 differnt albums: Killer, School's Out, Billion Dollar Babies (of which Reggie co-wrote the title cut), and the fourth album, Muscle of Love, where he was a background singer. Reggie and Alice are still best friends today as well as the original Alice Cooper's band.

Reggie met John Lennon in New York, and John asked him to join him on a session of his new record “Rock N Roll”, and they became good friends. Reggie then worked in New York with Bobbie Hatfield of the Righteous Brothers in a recording session.

Reggie was in France on the French Rivieria and he met Seymore Heller the Legendary Manager of Liberace, Lawerence Welk, Ginger Rogers, Glen Campbell and Tom Jones. Seymore offered Reggie a five year Management contract as a song writer and recording artist which he accepted. Reggie moved to Las Vegas and began to work with the Liberace Organization and Reggie performed at the Hilton and Riviera hotel. During that time Reggie became friends with Sammy Davis Jr, Bob Hope, Lucille Ball, and Debbie Reynolds and many more. Liberace introduced Reggie to Colonel Parker who was Elvis Presley's Manager. Then Colonel Parker introduced him to Elvis Presley's song writing team Delores Fuller and Ben Wiseman, whom Reggie started composing songs with. Then Ben and Delores introduced Reggie to Reverand Billy Graham and Johhny Cash, and he worked with both of them on Crusade's in Las Vegas and is still close friends with Billy Graham. He has also appeared as a guest on Shania Twain's latest biograpy DVD.

As of today Reggie has writen and recorded 16 gospel Albums and 6 pop CD's and has performed in Africa, England, Jerusalem, Canada and throughout America with his 19 Awards including 10 gold and platium Records.

2015 - Alice Cooper's "School's Out Album has been inducted into the 2015 Grammy Hall of Fame on which Rockin Reggie was was a session guitartist and background vocalist on the album.

2015 - Inducted in the Rock of Billy Hall of Fame in Jackson, TN.

The element of Rock-N-Roll and Gospel is what Rockin Reggie Vinson does better than the best!
